DCP OK is built to know as little about you as possible. This page describes everything we process, in plain language.

Checking a DCP

The checker runs entirely in your browser. Your DCP folder is read locally on your computer; nothing from it is uploaded, transmitted, or visible to us. We cannot see your film, your files, or your results.

No accounts, no cookies, no tracking

There is nothing to sign up for. We set no cookies, run no analytics or advertising scripts, and build no profiles. The site is served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes technical data such as IP addresses transiently to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If you run the deep audio analysis, your browser downloads the decoder component from jsDelivr, a public open-source CDN — a plain file download, with your film still never leaving your computer.

If you email us

When you contact us (for example to request a hand-built DCP), we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply and to deliver what you asked for — never for marketing, and we never share or sell it. Ordinary correspondence is kept as long as needed to provide the service; ask and we'll delete it.

If we build your DCP for you

For a paid build you send us your film via a private upload link. We use it solely to produce your DCP and delete your files after delivery. Payment is handled by our payment provider through a payment link — we never see or store card details.

Your rights

DCP OK is operated from the Netherlands, so the GDPR applies. Where we process personal data at all (correspondence and paid builds), we do so to perform the service you requested, or out of legitimate interest in operating the site securely. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time, and you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
